What we collect
IPOtick does not require an account and never stores your PAN, bank details, demat details, or IPO application number. When you check allotment on the IPOtick website for an IPO whose registrar supports it, the PAN you enter is passed through our server to that registrar for that one lookup and is then discarded: it is not saved, logged, or used for anything else. In the Android app, checks for KFintech, MUFG Intime, Bigshare and Maashitla go directly from your phone to the registrar and do not pass through our server; Skyline, Purva and Cameo keep a session with the registrar, so their checks go through our server in the app too, under the same rule. Some registrars ask you to type a captcha code, which is sent to them with your PAN. For other registrars, checking opens the registrar's website, where you provide information directly to them.
Data stored on your device
Your watchlist, alert settings, any PANs you choose to save, and the allotment results you record are stored locally in your browser or the app's private storage. They are not uploaded or backed up by IPOtick. When you check a result, the app either sends that PAN to the registrar as described above, or copies it to your clipboard and opens the registrar's page. Notification permission and scheduled alerts are managed by Android on your device. Removing a saved PAN, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app deletes this information.
Push notifications
If you turn on notifications, we store this device's push token (from Google Firebase in the Android app, or your browser's push service on the web), your alert settings and the IPOs you follow, so we can send the alerts you chose. Nothing else is linked to it, and no PAN is ever included. Turning notifications off in IPOtick deletes this record; tokens that stop working are deleted automatically.
Network and third-party services
The app downloads IPO records from the IPOtick API and may link to exchanges, registrars, issuers, prospectuses, and public market-data sources. Those services have their own privacy practices. We do not send your watchlist to them.
Analytics and advertising
This version does not include advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral analytics. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those services are enabled.
Your choices
You can remove individual watchlist entries or saved PANs, clear the app's stored data, disable notifications in Android settings, or uninstall the app at any time.
